TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION –Giveaway-vbs-kerahobby-2026

Participation in this competition and its implementation are governed exclusively by the following terms and conditions.

Participation is free of charge and does not depend on the purchase of products or services from VBS Hobby Service GmbH. By entering the competition, participants accept the following terms and conditions as well as the Privacy Policy.

§ 1 Participation

(1) All natural persons aged 18 or over who reside and have an address in the Federal Republic of Germany, Poland, Italy, the Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium or France are eligible to participate. Only private individuals are eligible. Business customers of VBS Hobby Service GmbH who register or log in as such are not eligible to participate.

Employees of VBS Hobby Service GmbH, employees of affiliated companies, their relatives, and all persons involved in the development or implementation of the prize draw are excluded from participation. Participation via competition-entry or prize-draw registration services is also excluded.

(2) Registration on the campaign website is required to participate. All participants, whether or not they are customers of VBS Hobby Service GmbH, must register using the entry form and complete all mandatory fields fully and truthfully.

Multiple entries and participation by one natural person using different email addresses and/or names are not permitted (this also applies to multiple entries using different email addresses from the same computer IP address). Multiple entries by one natural person using the same email address are valid; however, a prize will only be awarded once to one natural person.

In the event of a breach of these terms and conditions, an inadmissible influence on the competition or any other manipulation, VBS Hobby Service GmbH reserves the right to exclude participants from the competition (see § 7).

(3) To participate in the prize draw, the participant must provide their complete email address, form of address, first and last name, and full address. For specific prizes, the email address and full address are required so that VBS Hobby Service GmbH can notify the participant of a possible prize and arrange shipment of the prize. Entry forms that are incomplete or filled in incorrectly may be excluded from the draw by VBS in advance.

(4) The campaign website will be accessible until 23 October 2026. After this date, registration for the painting competition will no longer be possible.


§ 2 Description of the competition

(1) The prize draw takes place online on the campaign website.

(2) To take part in the draw for one of the three creative sets, the prize-draw form must be completed in full.

(3) Acceptance of the Privacy Policy and these Terms and Conditions of Participation is also required.

(4) Notices, results and further information about the VBS prize draw may be displayed on advertising posters, in brochures in the online shop vbs-hobby.com or on other websites of VBS Hobby Service GmbH, as well as in catalogues of VBS Hobby Service GmbH.


§ 3 Prizes and redemption

(1) After submitting the form on the campaign website, participants have the opportunity to win one of three prizes at the end of the campaign period.

These consist of:

3 creative sets on the theme of Christmas casting, each containing:

1 x VBS “KeraHobby” casting powder, white, 2 kg
1 x VBS mixing cup for casting powder
1 x VBS silicone casting mould “Advent Wreath Houses”
4 x LED real-wax candles with 6/18-hour timer
Total retail value of each individual prize: € 48.85 / CHF 73,45 / 1.242,85 Kč / 253,89 zł

The three selected winners may each win one of the three prizes.

The winners will be determined after the closing date for entries by a draw based on the principle of chance.

(2) Participants will be informed at the latest three weeks after the end of the competition if they have won.

(3) If a prize is subject to a condition, such as a purchase with a certain minimum order value, this condition must first be fulfilled.

(4) The prize will be sent to the address provided by the winner. VBS will notify the winner in advance by email.

(5) Cash payment of the prize or any substitute prize, or exchange of prizes, is not possible.

(6) The entitlement to the prize or a substitute prize may not be assigned.


§ 4 Liability

Claims for damages against VBS Hobby Service GmbH in connection with the competition and the prizes awarded are excluded, irrespective of the legal basis, to the extent permitted by law, unless VBS Hobby Service GmbH has acted intentionally or with gross negligence. Statutory liability under the German Product Liability Act and liability for injury to life, body or health remain unaffected.

VBS Hobby Service GmbH shall not be liable for damages that may arise from incorrect content, loss or deletion of data, viruses or otherwise in connection with participation in the competition. Furthermore, VBS Hobby Service GmbH shall not be liable for damages resulting from impaired availability of the websites (vbs-hobby.com, vbs-hobby.nl, vbs-hobby.be, vbs-hobby.fr, vbs-hobby.ch, vbs-hobby.at, vbs-hobby.pl, vbs-hobby.cz, vbs-hobby.it, vbs-versand.de and the campaign website) due to technical faults beyond its control, force majeure or disruptions caused by third parties.

VBS Hobby Service GmbH shall not be liable for material defects and/or defects of title in prizes sponsored by cooperation partners of VBS Hobby Service GmbH.


§ 5 Data protection provisions

The personal data of the competition participant, as well as their IP address and related data, will be collected, processed (stored) and used electronically for the purpose of administering the prize-draw campaign.

Consent to the collection, processing and use of personal data: The participant agrees that their personal data may be collected, processed (stored) and used by VBS Hobby Service GmbH for the establishment, implementation and administration of the prize-draw campaign. The participant agrees that their personal data (form of address, first name, last name, address, email address, date of birth and IP address), together with related data and their telephone number, if voluntarily provided, may be collected, processed (stored) and used.

Furthermore, the participant agrees that VBS Hobby Service GmbH may pass on and use these data with all companies entrusted with the implementation and administration of the prize-draw campaign. The participant may revoke this declaration of consent at any time vis-à-vis VBS Hobby Service GmbH and object to the further use of their data at any time. Revocation must be sent to: vbs@vbs-versand.de.

Immediately upon receipt of the revocation or objection, the participant’s personal data will no longer be processed or used and will be destroyed.

If the revocation/objection is made before the prize has been processed, the handover of the prize can no longer be guaranteed. After receipt of the revocation, further participation in the competition is excluded.

In accordance with the statutory provisions, the participant may obtain information from VBS Hobby Service GmbH at any time about their stored personal data. In all other respects, the current Privacy Policy of VBS Hobby Service GmbH applies. This can be viewed on the website www.vbs-hobby.com under the “Privacy” link. The controller within the meaning of the German Federal Data Protection Act is VBS Hobby Service GmbH, Justus von Liebig Str. 8, 27283 Verden, Germany.


§ 6 Early termination of the competition

VBS Hobby Service GmbH reserves the right to suspend or terminate the competition, in whole or in part, at any time without prior notice and without stating reasons if proper implementation of the prize draw cannot be guaranteed for technical reasons, such as viruses in the computer system, manipulation or errors in hardware and/or software, or for legal reasons. No claims may be derived from early termination.


§ 7 Exclusion of participants

VBS Hobby Service GmbH reserves the right to exclude participants who provide false information during registration, breach these Terms and Conditions of Participation, carry out or arrange manipulations, and/or seek to obtain an unfair advantage, from the competition. If a prize has already been awarded in such a case, it may be reclaimed where applicable.


§ 8 Other provisions

(1) Legal recourse is excluded.

(2) The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply exclusively.

(3) Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions of Participation be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
